1. What we collect

We only collect what we need to serve you well and to meet our legal duties. Depending on how you deal with us, that can include:

  • Contact details you give us: your name, phone number, and area.
  • What you tell us about your business and what you are looking for.
  • Application information if you apply: ID, business details, and what an officer records on a visit.
  • Basic website information: which pages you visit, to keep the site working. We keep this light.

2. How we use it

We use your information to call you back when you ask, to assess and manage loans, to keep you informed about your repayments, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your data. Ever.

3. The callback form

When you request a callback, we use the number and details you give us for one purpose: to have an officer call you about your enquiry. We do not add you to marketing lists without your clear agreement, and we do not pass your number to anyone outside TrustBridge.

4. WhatsApp and calls

If you choose to reach us on WhatsApp, your message is handled under WhatsApp's own terms as well as ours. We use the conversation only to help with your enquiry. Phone calls with officers may be noted for accuracy and training, and we will tell you if a call is being recorded.

5. Who can see your information

Inside TrustBridge, only the people who need your information to do their job can see it: your officer, the credit team, and support staff. Outside TrustBridge, we share only where the law requires it, for example with the Bank of Ghana or a credit reference bureau, or with service providers who are bound to protect it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it, for the life of your relationship with us and for the period the law requires us to keep financial records afterwards. When we no longer need it, we dispose of it securely.

7. Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously, because your trust is the business.

8. Your rights

Under Ghana's data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
  • Object to certain uses, including marketing.

To use any of these rights, contact us at privacy@trustbridge.com.gh. We will respond within the time the law allows.

9. Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies to work properly and to understand, in a general way, how the site is used. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Contact us

If you have any question about your privacy or this policy, contact our data protection contact at privacy@trustbridge.com.gh, or speak to any officer. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
